Youmightlivejustaspureandholyandclean,andyet,beasinner.It’syourfaiththatsavesyou.See.Manypeople,they’rejustaspureandclean,andyet,alotcleaner,sometimes,thanpeoplewho,professedChristians live. But yet, would deny the Holy Ghost, would denyeveryoperationof thepowerof God;they’reunbelievers,nomatter,they’re very religious. And the antichrist spirit is a very religiousspirit, just to themark, justas religiousas itcanbe, theantichrist.Jesusevensaid,“ItwoulddeceivetheveryElect, if possible, inthelastday.”That’strue.

Now, so then it behooves you to know where you’re_whereyou’redoing,whereyou’restanding,andwhatyou’retalkingto.E-3 Now, being that I’ve made this much confession, I’m goingto tell you something I’ve never told publicly in a audience in mylife,knowingly,unlessitwasundertheSpirit,sometime,‘causeIdothingsthenIdon’tknowwhatI’mdoing. But on the platform many, many times, I see the spirit thatleavestheperson.They’reinallkindof shapes.I’mfixingupabookon demonology, of what I know about it myself, in my personaldealings with demons; they’re beings. They’re just not just somethought, like Christian science says. It’s actually a being, and youseeitwhenitleavestheperson,likeablackshadow.I_Iseenthem,they look, some of them look like bats about that long, got longhairs hanging down. I seen them like that, and I seen them looklike tortoises, and like greatbig spiders thatweigh fiftypounds,orsomething, greatbig shadow like, and it leaves thepeople.Usually,that’sepilepsy. And it_it goes right over the audience. And Almighty God,who we’re preaching about, and surely, to be in the deepest of sincerity,Iseenthosethingsmoveovertheaudience.AndI’veseenthem,sometimes,whenthecongregationwillbejustinoneaccord,that they’d see that thing themselves, many times. Hundreds andhundredsof peoplewouldseeitmove. Andtherefore,itmusttaketheverydeepestof sincerity.Itisn’tabluff,youcan’tbluff theDevilatall,hewon’tbluff.Butwheneveryou’vereallycanproducethe_theBloodof JesusChrist,Satancan’tstandbeforethat.Now,that’sjustastrue.E-4 Well now, here’s what I’ve often wondered, and thank youfor bearing with me tonight to explain this. Here’s what I’ve oftenwondered.Now,InoticeIgotagreatgroupof ministersbackhere,which I’m very happy for them to be here, my brethren. And I’veoftenwonderedandseenpeoplecometothemeetingsthathavebeenthroughmeetings,wentthroughprayerline,thenthefirstthingyouknow,theywindup,upthereatthehouse.Someof thempossessedwith evil spirits. Here’s another one with, maybe,with a last stage of cancer, just withered away; they’re made well.Thenseeanotherperson,maybewithjusta_apersistentheadache,or something, and just been through prayer line after prayer line.There’ssomethingwrongsomewhere,there’sboundtobe. Now, that’s where the benefit of the little, humble gift thatGod gave me, if I can get that person alone and quiet and beforeGod, it’ll reveal just exactly what’s the matter. There’s somethingthat theyhaven’tdone,orsomethingthat theyought tohavedone.There’ssomereasonforit,somewhere.Butyoumustfindthat,thenthepatientgomakesitright,theygetwell.E-5 How many times has that happened? God only knows.Thousands of times that people who come, filled with the HolySpirit, Sunday school teachers, and everything, and yet, way backdown the line somewhere, something would happen. Here, theHoly Spirit reveals that right up, tells them just exactly what^“Iremember that, that’s just exactly right.” And away they go andmake it right.Thatsettles thesickness.See?Well, that’s thereason(orthediseaseorafflictionorwhateveritis),well,that’sthereasonthat the little gift, that God gave, comes in so wonderfully in thechurch. But you go to doing that over an audience of people, well,theneachindividualmusthavethatsamecontact,ortheydon’tfeelthey’reprayedfor.Theyjustdon’tdoit.I’vetriediteightyears. And you’ve heard me say in Owensboro, “Down in Africa,one’sÎ could stand here under the Spirit of God and someonesettingoutinthere,itwoulddiscernonething.Tellthepersonwhatwas wrong or something another like that, every person would dojustexactlywhatyou told themtodo. If theywere laying twisted,boundup,they’dbewigglingandtryingtheirbesttogetoff thecotordoÂndthey’dkeepdoingittilltheycoulddoit,togetup.Nodefeatwiththemthere.”E-6 ButinAmerica,itneverdidworkjustright.There’sjustÎt’ssomuchteachinginAmerica,somanydifferentteachings,tilleachonehastheirownidea.They’dsay,“Now,mypastorsaidthatthatmanwasa spiritualist.”Well, that settles itwithyou.Oh,yousay,“Idon’tbelievethatnow,BrotherBranham.”Butwaydown,inthatsubconscious,it’sstillthere.Youusuallymovebyyoursubconscious. Just like a big ship going out to sea, the captain gives orderstoalittlemanthatgoesdowninthebowelsof theship,andoh,hedon’tseenothing.Hejustoperatesthewayorderscomefromabove.

There’swhereit’sat.Thishasgottobewiththis.Andthisandthishasgottobewiththat.SeewhatImean?Andthenhealingtakesplace.Thenyou,yoursoul,andyourmind,andall,isincooperationwith God, and the channel of God’s blessing just flows right intoyou,andhealsyou.It’sjustgotto.E-8 Now,I’venoticedthat.AndI’vebeenveryparticularonwhatI was doing, I’d always wait. Perhaps, maybe God put that curseon^let Satan put it on. God don’t put a curse on no one, butsometimes,He’llpermitSatantodoit,hedidonJobandmanyof them,youknow;that,Satanputsacurse,Goddoesn’t.Godislove.Butif youdosomethingwrong,thenyouarejustloosedtoSatanforsomewhipping. Andthenwhenthiscurseisonyou,andthenperhapsmaybe,what if bypowerof attorney, thatyougobackand take thecurseoff,thatGodwilledthatitstaysontheretillthisthing’smaderight?Thenwhataboutit?Thenyou’reintroublewithGod.Isthatright?You’reintroublewithGod.E-9 Like a woman come on the platform there in Durban, shewalkedup,greatbig,strong,healthylookingwoman.TheHolySpiritspoketoher,toldherwhoshewas,whereshecomefrom,whathernamewas,andwhereshehadbeen,whoherhusbandwas;toldhershehadacystonthewomb. ThatGod,bythepowerof HisdeathatCalvary,hasgiventothechurchpower tocastoutevil spirits.BecauseMark16 said,“InmyNamethey shall castout^”(Not, “Iwill”; “Theywill.”) “InmyNametheyshallcastoutdevils.”Isthatright?“If theylaytheirhandsonthesick,theyshallrecover.” Now, that laying hands on the sick has been one thing, I’veoftenwondered,as I said:There’snotamother inherebutknowswhatlayinghandsonthesickis.Letyourlittlebabybesick,andyoupatitandplaywithitalittlebit,howitquietensit.E-11 Did you ever have a horse that was nervous and upset orsomething,or,yourdog?Justpathimjustalittlebit,putyourhandsonhim,rubhim,see.SeewhatImean?Now,there’sapowerof Godbylayinghandsonthesick,because it’sa_it’sacommandmentof JesusChrist,todoso. I said,“Becauseyou’vechallenged theSpiritof God, tonightyou’llfallovermyfeet.”Ididn’tknowIsaidthat,see,thatwastheSpirittalking,Itdonetookover,then.E-14 So,therewasbothchallenges.Andheruntome,hesaid,“I’llshowyouwhosefeetI’ll fallover.”Andhedrewbackhisgreatbigfist,likethat,andtheaudiencesetspellbound. Andjustashedrewbackhisfist,Isaid,“Satan,comeoutof him.” Andhethrewhishandsbacklikethat,hiseyesbulgedwayoutlikethat,androlledaround.Hethrewhisheadbackandro-^spunaroundthefloor,andfellonmyfeet,sothatthepolicehadtocomerollhimoff myfeet‘foreIcouldmove.Rightacrosstheplatform,hewasperfectlyjustlayingthere. Thepolicesaid,“Isthatmandead?” Isaid,“No,sir.” Said,“Ishehealed?” I said, “No, sir, he worships that spirit. See? He’d bring itright back to him because he thinks he’s right.” I said, “He isn’thealed.”Theyrolledhimover.Isaid,“Gethimoff myfeet.”Hewascramping me, he’s laying, that big man, up on my feet; I couldn’tmovemy feetoutandbothof them together.And so I_Icouldn’tmovemyfeetout,andtheyrolledhimover,andItookmyfeetaway,andwentontogetÊ-15 Andatthattime,whenall themdemonshadseentheirchief man defeated: they just begin to raise up out of wheelchairs, cots,stretchers, and everything else, and walk. That was the end of themeeting.Theyjust,everybodywashealedandwalkedout.Thatwasit,everything.See?Just^ Now, you see? When Satan was defeated there, the wholeaudience believed with one accord and went out. I turned again, put my hand over the boy’s eye, and said,“Satan, you, who done this evil, all the sights are bursted, everynerve’s killed, he’s totally blind, he can’t tell daylight from dark.”AndthereIwas,andIsaid,“IaskintheNameof JesusChristandcommandthatthesightcomestotheboy’seyes.”Iholdupmyhand.Hescreamedandgrabbedmyhand,runoff theplatformlookingathishands,praisingGod.E-19 What was it? Two women, blind in their eyes, come to theplatform,bothof themreceivedtheirsight.Herecomeadeaf man,cometotheplatform,thehearingcometohisears.Hecanheartoawhisper.Whatwasit?Thatgivemeconsolation. I got in connection with God. My voice come back, normal. He’srevealedtomethatthis,thisthinggoingon,now,isjustalittle,bittything.YouwaittillwereturnbackfromAfrica. Ijustfeel,tonight, likeanewperson,justtoknowthatHispowerishere.E-21 Igottwomoremeetingstohold,oneinFlorida.AndIheardtoday,that’srightawaynowwe’regoingtoAfrica.Themeetingsaregettingset,andthenwhenIgetintothat,andreturnback,Ibelieveyou’regoingtoseeadifferentmeetingaltogether. And I believe the thing’s: I want to get a bunch of ministersand get them together. The thing of it is, if you can get preachersmovingintheSpiritof God,thenyou’vegotsomethinggoing,yousee,thenyou^They’lltakeittothechurchandthechurchtakeittohere and from there to there. Not a new organization, but revivethese thatwehavegot,back to theKingdomof God,back,again,totheapostolicFaith.TheLordblessyou,friends.Ibelievewe’re_we’rejustatthevergeof something. Last night, way in the night, probably when you all were inbed, Iwas talkingtoHim.IcouldfeelHim,Hewasnearme.AndassureasIbelieveI’mstandingheretonight,withthisBiblebeforeme,IbelieveHe’sgoingtoappearvisiblybeforemeagainrightaway,maybe‘foreIgooverseasagain.Oh,ItrustthatHewill.I’vegotsomanythingstotalktoHimabout.AndI_I_ItrustthatHe’llappeartome,andbytimeIgetback,I’llhaveaMessageforyouthatcomesstraightfromtheThroneof God.Oh,howwonderfulHeis.
