Customizing the HR/Corporation & Foreign National Portal
Speaker: Christen Gause
What is the HR/Corporation Portal?
• The HR/Corporation Portal is a portal that is available to your clients.
• It is used by the HR and Global Mobility professionals to access the data of their foreign nationals and initiate new cases.
• Enterprise and Professional Edition INSZoom clients automatically, without any additional cost, have the ability to grant clients access to this portal.
• Access rights can be set for “Corporation” contacts which are your main point of contact and “Additional Contacts” which are the other contacts at a corporation, like, regional global mobility managers.
• The HR/Corporation portal can be customized to hide data that you don’t want to be viewed.
What is the Foreign National Portal (FNP)?
• The FNP is a portal that is available to the foreign nationals, assignees and/or employees of a corporation.
• The FNP is used by foreign nationals to access their personal data and that of their dependents. They can check their case status, review expiration dates, complete questionnaires and even send you emails.
• Enterprise and Professional Edition INSZoom clients automatically, without any additional cost, have the ability to grant foreign nationals access to this portal.
• The FNP can be customized to hide data and information that you don’t want the foreign nationals to see.
Why do you want to customize the portals?
• Clients have different requirements as to what data they want their foreign nationals to see.
• Some clients will require that they have the access or the ability to run their own reports.
• Law firms have processes in place with how they work with their clients and will only want the clients to have access to certain data. For example: notes are usually used for internal purposes so you would not want this info to be viewed.
• Basically, each client and law firm works in different ways and INSZoom gives you the ability to customize the portal to meet your needs and those of your clients.
