Registration Act. We are located at Indiranagar , Bangalore
and governed by a board of highly distinguished and eminent

CSD came into existence in October 2003 with highly distinguished and eminent personalities forming the founder members team. CSD works in close association with various government agencies, scientific institutions and civil society organizations in multi- disciplinary areas of sustainable development. From cleaner production to climate change to green buildings , CSD has pursued an integrated approach to foster a harmonious balance of environment, economy and society.
A Decade of Existence
•Began with a project from Government of Andhra Pradesh on Cleaner Production for a leather tannery in Warangal(2003-2004) •CSD has come a long way in developing its own Environment Report Card for Bangalore city, preparing the Karnataka Climate Change Action Plan, embarking on the first pilot project on Food Safety in the country and setting up a E-Waste agency to address the growing concerns of waste in the IT Capital. •After a decade of successful innovative efforts in the area of sustainability, CSD has an ambitious agenda of developing “smart and sustainable “ cities for the future
