Erec6ng a Timber frame building The course will cover ecological 6mber-‐frame building methods through a series of prac6cal and theore6cal sessions. This course will cover a range of 6mber frame building techniques. You will gain hands-‐on experience, underpinned by talks on the process of planning and building your own 6mber frame structure.
Who is the course for? Anyone with an interest in sustainable construc6on and self-‐build. This course welcomes par6cipants from NGOs working in development, self-‐builders, construc6on teachers, individuals looking to re-‐skill and architects. What will you get out of it? The skills and knowledge needed to ini6ate their own 6mber frame self build projects.
Course fees and how to pre-‐book your place Course fee including full board accommoda6on for 7 days: 900 eur, reduc6ons for Early Bird, University Students and Mul6ple Enrollments. Due to the nature of this course some prac6cal work will be done outside. We strongly advise you to bring waterproof clothing and steel toe-‐cap boots are mandatory.
