focus on individuals and groups who are
most disadvantaged in the labour market

recruiting at least 1500 unemployed
people onto the programme and
supporting over 550 into
employment.

Enterprise engages with employers
to match the needs of programme
participants with employer’s needs.
A range of marketing materials including
banners, posters and postcards have been
designed using the Cornwall Works brand
to promote the programme to both
participants and employers
Cornwall Works for Social Enterprise
provider organisations hold a market
style event to promote the programme
to referral agencies
Cornwall School for Social
Entrepreneurs promotes new social
enterprises and supports
participants choosing a self-
employment option
Participants who volunteer at
Citizens Advice Bureau receive
support and training to become paid
advice workers
Volunteers at ReZolve develop their
skills and learn about the recycling
business at the Re:Source training
centre
Cornwall Council welcomes a
delegation from Germany visiting
‘best practice’ providers with ESF
