Vegans ge t the most amount o f nut r ients they can f rom the i r f ood and are keen to make sure they know how to ge t everyth ing they need such as i ron . However , v i tamin B12 is a v i tamin that can be hard for vegans to ob ta in as i t i s found in meat , wh ich i s c reated by bacte r ia but i s a l so added to fo r t ified foods such as breakfast ce rea ls . A supp lement o f B12 i s the eas iest way to make sure you do not lack i t in your d ie t .  Not on ly do vegans tend to be more we l l in fo rmed o f what the i r body needs and what the i r food conta ins but avo id ing meat and an imal products can he lp to v i r tua l l y e l iminate the most severe d i seases such as card iovascu lar d i sease , obes i ty , type 2 d iabetes , d ive r t i cu los i s and e .co l i i n fect ions . Th is fact a lso has no l ink to where i t i s ta lk ing about , i t i s not c lear whether i t means for the who le wor ld , or a spec ific country.
