Transfer Order
Troop to Troop Transfers
Financial Procedure
SNAP always moves money with T2T transfers. The FROM Troop shows a lower balance and the TO Troop shows a higher balance AUTOMATICALLY when the packages are
transferred.
There are two situations to be aware of for this type of transfer:
1. If Troop A transfers UNPAID packages to Troop B, the transfer will work properly
2. If Troop A transfers PAID [to Council] packages to Troop B, Council will need to be notified so a financial adjustment can be made to balance out the financial side of the transaction
If no notification is given to Council, there is a possibility of two Troops paying for the same cookies!
Creating Recognition Order
Recognition Confirmed (GREEN)
• Level does not require choice
·Choice has been made previously
Choice Pending (RED)
·Requires choice to be made
Viewing Recognition Order
Status Legend
·U - Uncommitted
·T – Committed by Troop
·C – Committed by Council
·R – Needs Review

Finances
Troop Transactions let you see what payments have been submitted for the Troop; view the “Troop Balance Summary Report” to see other useful financial information, such as, outstanding balance due.
Also, you can see what girl payments have been received by each Troop; view the “Girl Balance Summary Report” for a complete breakdown.
All payments can be seen in the tables below, but you can use the filters in order to see specific financial transactions for a Troop. Your Service Unit will automatically populate, so all you would need to do is select the Troop # in the drop-down box under “Filter by Troop”.
Creating Messages/Emails
• Under “MyCouncil” icon
• Troops see messages when they first log into SNAP (seen on their Snapshot)
• Emails are sent directly to the accounts setup in their Troop Information
• Great way to send out reminders to troops
• Use other email account if looking for a response to emails
