Bycontrollingtheamountoflightthatentersthecamera,theshutterspeedalsoaffectsthewaythatmovingobjectsareshown.

Afastshutterspeedcanfreezemotion–1/250sec.ismorethanfastenoughformostscenes.Averyslowshutterspeedwillrecordevenaslow-movingobjectwithsomeblur.ShutterSpeed+ApertureTheshutterspeedandapertureworktotogethertoachieveacorrectexposure.Astheshutterspeedgetsfaster,lettinglesslighthitthesensor,theapertureopeninggetslargertomakeupthedifference.Ifyouwanttouseasmallapertureopening,theshutterspeedwillbecomeslowertocompensate.Foracorrectexposuretheshutterspeedandtheapertureopeningneedtoworktogethertoallowthecorrectamountoflightstrikethesensor.
