TomTalavage,PhD,andEricNauman,PhDPurdueNeurotraumaGroupandProfessorsWestLafayette,INThomasTalavageisaProfessorinthePurdueUniversitySchoolofElectricalandComputerEngineeringwithajointappointmentintheWeldonSchoolofBiomedicalEngineering.HeistheFoundingCo-DirectorofthePurdueMRIFacility,andisoneoftheco-PrincipalInvestigatorsinthePurdueNeurotraumaGroup.EricNaumanistheDirectoroftheCollegeofEngineeringHonorsProgram,ProfessorofMechanicalEngineeringandintheSchoolofBiomedicalEngineeringandBasicMedicalSciences.WorkbyProfessorsTalavageandNaumanandthePurdueNeurotraumaGroupservesastheseminaldemonstrationoftheconsequencesofrepetitiveheadtraumainathleteswhoaregenerallyclassifiedasasymptomatic.
