Why Solar Media?Solar Media has been a leading worldwide news provider, and at the forefront of communication, in the solar industry for the past 8 years. With expertise in both print and digital media we have successfully built a substan-tial and loyal following of readers across the globe with PV Tech.org and in the UK with the market leading Solar Power Portal.
Energy Storage AllianceIn addition to our solar expertise, and in response to the needs and demands of the marketplace, in July 2015, Solar Media successfully launched its Energy Storage Alliance with the aim of supporting and driving the rise of the energy storage industry in the UK and internationally.
With the sole objective of forming commercial partnerships that allowed the industry to talk to one another and drive the energy storage agenda, Solar Media has already delivered a number of critical events that have been extremely well received by industry.

Why Clean? We believe in clean, decentralised energy for every residential home, every commercial premises and every rural and urban facility in the UK.
With solar leading the charge, the brightest of futures is assured for clean energy. In recent long-term projec-tions, Bloomberg New Energy Finance anticipates US$3.7t of global investment in solar alone between now and 2040. This will result in solar accounting for more installed capacity worldwide than any other technology — around 35% compared with 2% as it stands.
In addition to this is the introduction of the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) for all large UK cor-porations, with 60% of eligible companies complying by the 29th January 2016 deadline, which means that reducing energy bills and the environmental impact of your business is something very much at the forefront of these 5939 firms - as well as the 40% yet to comply.
When hard-headed decision makers from the likes of Deutsche Bank see that renewable energy is entering the mainstream economy, and when corporate giants from Apple to Proctor & Gamble, Google to Walmart have launched plans to become renewably powered companies, you can be sure that something serious is afoot.
At Solar Media, we have the knowhow, the experience, the contacts and the track record in championing the renewable energy agenda and producing industry leading products, and that’s exactly what we are going to do for clean energy in the UK.

Bi-Annual Steering CommitteeBased on the success of the Energy Storage Alliance, we are setting up a steering committee for elite industry leaders, with the aim of championing clean energy in business and driving the clean energy agenda in the UK.
This stands separately from our content advisory board on the basis that its sole purpose is to help drive the clean agenda in such a way as to grow the sector from a commercial standpoint, with the support and insight from the industry leaders themselves.
Meeting at least twice a year, our steering committees will give you a unique opportunity to meet, network and discuss the most relevant and pertinent issues effecting the successful deployment of clean energy in the UK with other leading industry stakeholders.
The content of these meetings will be guided by our commercial partners, and through conversation and feedback from our audience - the end user - to ensure that we can work together to solve the barriers to clean energy deployment.
Our first round table on 19th February will discuss:
• Efficiency policy and its application• Finance• The procurement challenge• Technical standards• Training
This will provide our attendees with a unique opportunity to have a guiding hand in the growth and direction of the clean energy sector that they operate within, and provide an unrivalled network-ing opportunity.
The next steering committee meet-ing will take place in May 2016.

Commercial PartnershipWe have 25 commercial partnerships available that are split into four different levels: Founding Partner, Official Partner, Knowledge Partner and Technology Partner.
The cornerstone of all of our commercial partnerships is the steering committee, with all levels of partnership incorporating the opportunity to attend these unique events.
The difference in the partnership levels lies within the associated promotional work and advanced notice on any relevant news, features, comment, as well as first refusal on advertising opportunities. For example, with the Founding Partner level, you get at least 48 hours’ notice on these opportunities, as well as founder level branding for the next 12 months. What this means is that wherever we use our logo for the next 12 months, we use yours. Every piece of correspondence, every piece of marketing, every advert, every logo placement - you will be recognised as a founding partner of Clean Energy News. You will also benefit for adverts on 4 of our weekly newsletters, and the headline leaderboard position on our website for 6 months.
Your brand will be synonymous with the Clean Energy News brand, and everything we do to further and grow the UK clean energy industry over the next 12 months.
All our commercial partners will be acknowledged for 12 months on an exclusive section of the website, which will include hyper-linking to a company profile and contact details.
