First international exchangeIn March 2014, students participating in the project ‘Culture Beyond
Borders’ met for the first time – inCollège Robert Doisneau in Clichy-sous-Bois near Paris.
Official welcomeAll the guests from Denmark, Poland and Spain were officialy greeted
by the headmasters of Collège Robert Doisneau. It was also the first meeting of all participating teachers and project coordinators.
First meetingAfter a half-year internet cooperation, the students were
finally met their partners in person.
Lessons in partner schoolStudents took part in an international class of First Aid and a
technology lesson.
Common lunchAfter the lessons everybody met for a common lunch and a
sweet surprise treat prepared by the French team.
Immigration MuseumThe second day of our stay we took part in common
international workshops in the Museum of Immigration.
Visiting ParisThe participants of the exchange learnt a lot about French
history and culture while visiting the important sights.
Building common memoriesSpending time together was a great opportunity to integrate
and develop international friendships.
A visit to the SenateFormer mayor of Clichy-sous-Bois, senator Claude Dilain, was
our guide round the Palace of Luxembourg. It was an exceptional visit!
Saying goodbye to ParisThe last highlight of our stay in Paris was climbing the Eiffel
Tower together. An unforgettable experience!
