- With a pencil, draw a simple drawing on a white piece of paper (¼ the size of the final sheet.)
- Do not have any open lines, just closed shapes.- Do not over complicate. It is okay to make it MUCH
more simple than the example above.- When finished, outline the drawing in sharpie marker.

- Put the pattern behind the white piece of paper and trace it onto the final.
- Use a window or a light table to better see the image underneath.

- Flip the pattern over and repeat previous step. If the pattern does not match up with drawing that is already traced, flip the paper over and try again.

- Continue until the paper is filled.

- Go over the pencil marks with sharpie.- If there are mistakes, correct them when using the
sharpie.

- Once done with the sharpie… ….draw a line splitting the page in half (if you want to use two color schemes.)….or three lines splitting the page into fourths (if you want to use four color schemes.)

- Choose the first color scheme.- Color some areas with crayon- Then finish that color scheme with watercolors.
- Continue with the other sections.
