DongHae Biomass CFB Boiler (30MWe)
Boiler Spec. 30MWe CFB type (107 ton/h, 97 kg/cm2, 510oC) Construction Designed by Andritz (Constructed by POSCO E&C.) Fuel : Bio-SRF (Bio-Solid Refuse Fuel, Wood Chips) Experienced Problems Fouling / Tube Erosion & Corrosion Poor Fluidization due to Clinker Formation
YeoSu CFB Boiler (340MWe x 2)
SamCheok CFB Boiler (500MWe x 4)
Now, #1 and #2 Units are Under Commissioning Period Successful operation of #1 unit, up to full load (1,000MWe), in mid-Oct. Plan to achieve commercial operation by the end of this year.
Experiences in Commissioning Period Explosion in the coal chain conveyors due to coal dust/volatiles (start up) Damage of refractory in the INTREXs/at the cyclone inlet (construction problem) Now, they are in the process of optimization of the operation.
