SAMARITAN’S PURSE INFORMATION Boxes for Samaritans Purse will be
available soon. You are encouraged to pack a box with your family.
These should be brought to church no later than November 12, 2017.
As an alternative to doing a box yourself, we will be collecting
items and having a packing session. Good items include "small" toys
(cars, balls, jump ropes, etc.) Remember to include batteries if
needed. Also school supplies, hygiene items (no liquids) or small
accessories. Flash light should include batteries. This year, no
toothpaste may be included, no food of any kind including mints and
hard candy, no fruit rolls, no drink mixes, no liquids or lotions,
no aerosol cans. Customs in some places will remove these. These
items may be brought beginning in September extending through
October 23, 2017. Samaritan’s Purse SUGGEST a $9 donation for
delivery. If you would like to donate for this, you may leave money
in an envelope in the box, at the church office or give to Debbie
Rukat. More details will be announced soon including information
about a plastic box which can be purchased for $1.50.

ANGEL TREE ORNAMENTS UPDATE
On Sunday ,December 3, at the Hanging Of The Greens we need to
update our Angel Tree ornaments. This tree will be in the vestibule
and is in memory of friends and family who have passed away. Many
of you have placed angel ornaments on the tree in the past, however
tags were either not placed on the ornament originally or they have
fallen off. Each ornament should have the persons name it is given
in memory of. Tags will be available on December 3 to replace or
place on the ornament. Please check your ornament then or another
time in December to be sure each one does have a tag.
Some of you may want to place an angel ornament on the tree for a
loved one. Please place the ornament in a bag noting who it is in
memory of and the Flower Committee members will prepare the label
for you. Or, if you choose, you may label and hang it anytime in
December. Please do not bring the ornaments prior to December 3rd
since we have no place to store them for you before the tree is
up.

all—Christ’s birth!! As we enjoy this season, our church celebrates
with the beauty of Christmas poinsettias in the sanctuary. These
will be available again this
year at a cost of $5.00 each. Please use the envelope provided to
you in your tithing boxes or one of the envelopes available in the
sanctuary pews. Remember to clearly mark who you are purchasing
these for; either in honor or in memory of someone you love. We
will take orders

DONATION OF INK CARTRIDGES As you know, we continue to collect used
printer cartridges. We are able to deliver these to a local
business where we
receive credit for office supplies/equipment. We are allowed to
deliver twenty (20) per month and with this receive $40 credit.
This goes quite a long way when we have need of paper, etc. for the
office. If you have used cartridges
available, please drop them off by the church office or the Sunday
School office. We’ll be happy to recycle these for you.
Thanks!
THANK YOU NOTES
Dear College Street Baptist Church, Thank you for your kind words
of comfort, the heartfelt cards and the many prayers offered to our
family when Jeanette passed. We also appreciate the delicious meal
so lovingly prepared and served by the ladies of the church. Thank
you also for the donation to the CSBC Library, a ministry that was
very close to Jeanette's heart. God bless you all.

acknowledges with grateful appreciation your kind expression of
sympathy.” Thank you so much for the generous memorial gift (to
Golden Fellowship Club) in our Mom’s memory. She would have been
happy to do something for the “Jolly Seniors” at her church. May
God richly bless your ministry.

Dear College Street Baptist Church, Thank you so very much for the
love you have shown our family during the loss of our son, brother
and father, Rev. Larry Medlin. Your kindness was very evident with
the phone calls, visits, cards and the wonderful meal served to our
family during this difficult time. Most of all thank you especially
for your prayers. Please continue to remember us as you pray for
grace as it is needed. May God bless each of you.
**************
Dear College Street Baptist Church, “Thank you for your sympathy
and kindness at a time when it was deeply appreciated.” Thank you
so very much for the love and compassion you have shown to our
family during our time of loss. You could not have honored our Dad
in a finer way than giving to the Brevard Wesleyan Church
Restoration Fund. Daddy loved his church and his church family.
Your prayers, cards, meals and hugs have been a blessing to each of
us.
Sincerely, Sharon & Randy McManamay
