Originally from Siberia, the Blue Noses are the rascals of comtemporary Russian art. Formed at the time of the milleniumbig in 2000, they portray themselves as a collective of “ happy imbeciles ” in hilarious photos and video sketches. Underthe shroud of comedy, their scenes are violent, caustic critiques of the stupidit of modern society and its values.
