people and places) 3. The pronoun “I” 4. Days of the week, months and

holidays but not seasons 5. The first word of a quotation 6. The names of deities and holy

books like: God and the Bible 7. Major words in the titles of

books, songs and articles 8. Directions like North and South

but only when used as specific places like: I lived in the South

9. Time periods like: The Great Depression
