Distributing numbers is an easier way to solve mathematical problems.

Distributing numbers

7(2+8)7×10=70

OR7(2+8)14+56

=70

Distribute the number or variable on the outside of the parentheses to the numbers/variable inside the parentheses.(Use arrows to help guide you

when distributing)

After distributing the number you multiply it

Finally add or subtract the numbers ( depends if the number is neg. or pos.)

How to distribute

6(15-7)

(6×15) AND (6×-7)90 AND -42

90 – 42= 48
