Although college degrees in a finance, management, business are strongly
desired they are not necessary for a successful career in the finance field. There are some positions that require further education out of the
colligate setting:
Loan Officers, Mortgage Officers: Further loan training usuallyoffered within the facility
Financial Planners: Must earn their Financial Planning Certification tobecome a CFP: Certified Financial Planner
Money Management: Investors are required deep understanding ofthe market along with economic behavior.
Furthering any education past what is required will further your career
within your chosen field. Most employers will offer funding for furthering your education with
an agreement made to maintain employment for a set length of time.
Another often overlooked option to further real life education isaccepting an internship within your desired field.
