Here there’s the polystyrene hand made by a robot of Ronchini Massimo Srl,and subsequently treated and coated with the appropriate materials and
currently exhibited in front of the “City of the Future”.

MAIN FEATURESThe RM-RoboCut3D is the non-limits milling solutions. Thanks to the 6 interpolated axes, the anthropomorphic robot is extremely versatile and can perform complex movements. You will no longer have to stop machining and reposition the workpiece, because its flexibility allows you to reach all the critical points of machining.
RM-RoboCut3D is equipped with a high-speed rotating spindle that reaches 24,000 rpm. The high-efficiency cooling system allows you to continue working at high revs throughout the machining process, avoiding overheating problems.
Control the movements of the robotized arm with a simple touch on the Touchscreen Control Pad. Commanding robot movements is even simpler and more intuitive with the XMC 4.0 RoboCut, our custom designed software interface for our robotic systems.
The heart of the installation is composed by the anthropomorphous Robot. Milling robots can process a variety of different materials from alloys to plastics and from foams to timber. An anthropomorphic robot allows to per-form milling operations with freedom, flexibility and effectiveness and with the fewest placings compared to a conventional machine tool.
Make the polystyrene milling even faster with the Wire Arc Tool for roughing. Thanks to this optional, you can halve machining times by eliminating unnecessary polystyrene parts and reducing the surface to be milled.
