The Howard County Conservancy is a local non-profit organization that provides environmental education and land preservation programs. The Conservancy offers programs at two locations – our home base at Mt. Pleasant Farm in Woodstock and at Howard County’s Belmont Manor and Historic Park in Elkridge. The properties feature beautiful streams, woodlands, wetlands and grasslands and are conveniently located between Baltimore and Washington.Our Mt. Pleasant location features four miles of trails, historic farmstead buildings and native plant and thematic gardens.
Belmont FacilitiesOur Belmont location is in the Carriage House at Howard County Recreation and Park’s Belmont Manor and Historic Park in Elkridge. This 60-acre park is surrounded by Patapsco State Park and features the historic Belmont Manor house.The Carriage House is available for business meetings and community group rentals. Belmont is open for scheduledevents only.

use of the event room, balcony, break room, tables and chairs:

Belmont Carriage House $100/hr weekdays, $150/hr weekendsMeeting room and nature center with capacity of 40 per room, 80 total. Covered patio also available. Rental includes tables and chairs. Set-up and clean-up additional $50 per service.

T he Gudelsky Environmental Education Center, built in 2005,
includes a 2,400 square foot event room, break room,
balcony, expansive terrace and nature center on the lower level.
The Center features sustainable and environmental building and
beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
