Important Information
A Note about ClassesA final schedule confirming your camper’s classes will be sent to you in the spring along with an orientation letter and carpool assignments. On the first day of each session, campers receive a laminated copy of their schedule on the back of their nametag to wear each day of camp. All classes offered are subject to cancellation. Due to the creative nature of our program, class activities are subject to change. Students may occasionally attend special performances, participate in games or engage in activities not listed in the class descriptions.
All Brilliant Summer programs coordinate to provide a full day of care filled with fun and enriching opportunities. If you are interested in combining classes from different programs, music lessons or tutoring sessions to fill the day, just let us know. Counselors will safely escort your child to and from each activity.
RegistrationLog-in early to check out our new registration site: st.catherines.org/summer.
Any paper applications received prior to February 1 will be marked as February 1 and will be processed in random order on the first day of registration. After February 1, we will continue to accept applications and register children until the programs reach capacity. The Brilliant Summer Program admits students of any race, color, nationality or ethnic origin. If you would prefer to mail your application please use the enclosed application and envelope or call the Auxiliary Programs/Brilliant Summer office: 804-288-2804, ext. 3396
ApplicationsFor Creative Arts 3-Week Camps, be sure to specify your camper’s first, second and third choice classes on mail-in applications. If you do not list three choices or if your requested choices are not available, we may assign your child to an available class.

Friday FrolicsEveryone gathers each Friday at the end of the camp day for Friday Frolics, a time for special events, performances or concerts. The carnival-like atmosphere is not only a great way to end the week but gives campers and staff a chance to get together and engage in competitive and artistic activities with an outdoor theme.
Family FestivalSt. Catherine’s Brilliant Summer Program holds an evening Family Festival for parents and visitors on July 7 for Session One participants and July 28 for Session Two participants. The festivals are a culmination of the campers’ efforts and provide an opportunity for children to display their artwork and perform music, dance and theatre productions.
