Brighton Energy Coop
Project Update
December 2013
In late October 2013 Brighton Energy Coop
began fundraising for our new project - more
than 600kWp of community-owned solar PV
in the south of England.
By the end of November we’d raised more
than £300,000.
In early December we began installaion of
Phase 1 of the project - a 214kWp of solar on
Shed 10 at (right and inside).

We coninue to raise funds for Phase 2 of
the project - 200kWp of solar at Shed 3a at
Shoreham Port (right). Total required for
Phase 2: £232,000.
Investors in both projects receive an
expected 5% return on their investment plus
the potenial for a 30% tax break on the
amount invested.
