Your HACC IDWhat is my HACC ID?
This is your identification number at HACC. It starts with an “H” and can be found on your HACC ID card.
I don’t know my HACC ID number. How do I get it?Go to the Welcome Center near the entrance by Weis. You will need an official photo ID.
Your PIN
What is my PIN?This is a password chosen by you.
The first time you access your account, your PIN will be your date of birth (MMDDYY). You will be prompted to create a new PIN. Your new PIN must be 6-15 characters with at least one number.
HACCWebWhat is it?
HACCWeb is a self-service portal where you can register for classes, pay your tuition, change your pin number, and more.
How do you access it?From the HACC web page, the “HACCWeb” link is the last one on the red ribbon.
Login to the “myHACC” portal.
OR
Login to HACCWeb and follow along.
You can see your class schedule, register, drop and add courses, and pay your account.
View your current and past semester grades here.
If you receive aid, you will see this section.

What if I forget my password or it doesn’t work?
Try your birth date or another password you frequently use.
Go to HACCWeb > Enter your UserID, leave password field blank, and click on the
“Forgot?” button > Answer the security question > Reset password
If you can’t answer the security question, go to the Welcome Center
with a photo ID.

Desire2Learn (D2L)What is it?
The online system used in many online, blended, and face to face classes. Here you can see your homework materials and submit assignments.
How do I access D2L?Option 1: Log into the “myHACC”
portal. Click D2L link.
Option 2: Log in directly at https://ehacc.hacc.edu
D2LWhat if the MyHACC portal won't let me login?
Call the HACC Help Desk at (717) 780-2570. If the Help Desk cannot resolve the issue or if the portal is down for any reason, please use the secondary method of accessing D2L as described below. Can I access Desire2Learn (D2L) if the MyHACC portal is not available?Yes! Go directly to Desire2Learn at https://ehacc.hacc.edu and log in manually using your User ID and your HACCWeb Password.

HAWKMailWhat is it?
This is HACC’s official student email system used to communicate with you. Your username and temporary password were sent to you in your admission letter.
How can I open my HAWKMail account?Option 1: From the HACC main page (www.hacc.edu/),
click the HAWKMail link on the right.
Option 2: Login through the “myHACC” portal

To find your username, login to HACCWeb and locate your HAWKMail username and email address under the Personal Information tab.

Using a flash driveA storage device that you can use to save your research
papers, presentations, and other course assignments.
Step 1: When starting a paper, plug in your flash drive.
Step 2: Once your paper is set-up, click the “save” icon in Word or other program.
Step 3: In the folders area, select your flash drive.
Step 4: Save often, making sure you are always saving on your flash drive.
Step 5: Before removing flash drive, click the “remove and eject” icon, wait for the “safe to remove” pop up.
View video and add our documents to your new flash drive.

Step 2: Click
“Attach a file”.
Step 1: Type in email address and create a
subject.
Send a document to your professor
Step 3: Find your flash drive and the document you want
to send.
Step 4: Click “open” and your document will attach to your
email.
