About The Author Robert P. Neuschel received a BA degree
from Dension University, majoring in
economics & English, & a master¶s degree
in business administration from HarvardUniversity Business School.
Robert P. Neuschel was a retired senior partner in
1979, of Mckinsey & Company, Inc., the international
management consulting firm, where he served clients
on all six continents in strategic planning,
organizational management development, & logistics.

makes the case that our leadership isexperiencing a diminution in ethics and a
loss of enduring values.
He forcefully and straightforwardly gives
an outline of what he believes are the major
changes in leadership. As a professor of

captain in the U. S. Army, Neuschel
observed the best of leadership, and

³Servant Leader´ is a book of leadership
which teaches us how to become a
successful leader in any field whether in
college, in corporate etc. This book is very
effective for management students. It
teaches how to achieve high degree of
business & organizational smarts & the
capacity to provide inspired leadership. This
book clears the difference between the roles
of manager & leader. One main thing this
book taught us is that ³All leaders are also
Followers.´

CRITICAL REVIEW
This book is a very inspirational especially
for upcoming leaders. Apart from this some
of the lines are very good as well asinspirational. The lines are: ³honesty is at
the very heart of good management´, ³He
who has never learned to obey cannot be a
good commander´, etc.
