Atthisstage,TheBLUEMEDImplementationPlanhastobeconsideredmoreaStrategicImplementationPlan (SIP)thananOperationalImplementationPlan(OIP)wherethewho,where,when,andhowofallactionsisaddressed.
TheobjectivesofthisStrategicImplementationPlanistoprovideamethodologytoguidethedevelopmentofactions.
ThestartingpointandthesubjectoftheImplementationPlan(IP)willbetheupdatedSRIAapprovedduringthisweek,theBluemed week(October2018,Barcelona).
DuringthispresentationtheOutline,content,criteriaandmethodologyofourImplementationPlanwillbepresentedanddiscussed.
BLUEMEDImplementationPlan
ThisStrategicImplementationPlanwillcontent:
• Identificationoftherangeofprogrammes andinitiativesthatmaybeusedtopromotejointprogrammingandsupportofresearchonprioritizedBLUEMEDchallengesandrelatedgoals;
• Definitionofmethodstoidentifyandhierarchizetopicstobetargetedbytheseactivities,inparticular,topicsforjointcalls,butalsofortrainingandmobilityschemes,etc…,whileexplicatingtheirMediterraneanaddedvalue;
• Listofactivities thatshouldbecarriedoutandpromotedtooperationallydeploytheSRIA,alsobenefittingfromcollaborationwithotherEuropeanorinternationalinitiatives;

1.2PrioritizingSRIAGoalsandActionsNotalltheactionscanbeaddressedatthesametimeandaprioritizationexercisemustbedone.

Amethodologyincludedinthedeliverable‘Reportonpriorityactions’(D2.4,resultingfromTask2.2–SettingprioritiesfortheSRIA)hasbeendevelopedbytheBLUEMEDCSAtosupporttheprioritizationprocess,providingcriteriatoassesstheactionsdepictedintheSRIAanditstranslationintoafocusedlist.
ThisprioritizationprocessiskeyforthesuccessoftheSRIAimplementationintheupcomingyears.
