Management education has a pivotal role to play in the economic
and social development of any country. Under the leadership
of Oshwal Education Trust, JVIMS-MBA has headed for a better
futuristic horizon in management education. We thrive not to
be a ‘me-too’ category of a B-school but plunge the success
ingredients to our beloved student fraternity.

our education requires today. At JVIMS-MBA we understand
and implement the same. We desire to endow students with the
qualities that make them formidable candidates for the job. We

Experiential Learning
Case Study
Roleplay
Life in JVIMS extends beyond the packed academic curriculum to a host of other activities. This makes learning an enjoyable activity and helps in the all round development of each and every participant. Theoretical knowledge is reinforced and put to practical uses by students’ involvement in the planning and organizing of mega events. The events are conceptually planned and implemented by the students : Gurudin (Teacher’s day), Annual Day Celebration, Kathiawadi day (Traditional Day), Induction Week (For SEM-I), JVIMS Junoon (A Full Day Management Event, Which includes Management Games, Role Plays), Farewell etc.
Case studies are the best possible way to understand complexities of decision making in real life situation. Cases are gener ally used in illustrating the contextual setting and information inadequacy characteristics of business problems, At JVIMS the students are given various cases to study in depth, analyze out the facts and come out with appropriate solution.
work. Here, instead of solving a problem, the students in the group take on pre-assigned roles and dramatize a problem as characters. Role playing is way for student to develop their own character and a personality that is not their own. Role Plays also help students overcome shyness, since it is sometimes easier for students to play an assigned role, rather than to defend their own individual ideas. Role play exercises also appeal to contemporary students who like to “learn by doing.” So it is extensively used and also incorporated as one of the learning pedagogy.

OSHWAL EDUCATION TRUSTCatering To Educational Needs From
Pre-primary (KG) To Post-Graduation (MBA & MCA)
Oshwal Education Trust (OET), has been a 'Brain Child' of Shri R.K.Shah, Managing Trustee, under whose able leadership the trust has matured into a complete educational need provider. His untiring zeal has been instrumental in starting various institutes in a short span of time, all being managed aptly by dedicated trustees.
In 1995, Shri Bipinchandra T. Vadhar with his rich experience as an administrator and as a management expert took over the reins of the trust as the "Director of Higher Education". Having realized the dearth for English Medium College and the plight of the students who had to leave the city in order to pursue higher education. He worked zealously contributing his might both quantitatively and quantitatively to establish English medium College namely "Shri Gosar Hansraj Gosrani Commerce & Shri Dharamshi Devraj Nagda B.B.A. College. " He is highly instrumental in making M.B.A. a reality.
These centres of learning are the fruitful outcome of the creation engineered by the founders through their untiring efforts. Several generations to come will remain indebted to the founders for their glorious vision, which was translated into action.
