Summer Bridge books
Summer Bridge Books can be purchased by families that would like to help their child review important skills they will need for the next grade level. Students who complete their book can return it in August for a surprise. This year orders are available online and will be mailed directly to your home. You can go to www.SummerBridgeDirect.com and use BLAIR as the school code to get $3 off.
IXL Math and Language Arts
All Students have a Math and Language Arts IXL Account. This is a great way for students to practice and keep up on their math and language arts skills over the summer. Students work at their own pace and each lesson focuses on a grade level skill.

The public library’s summer program this year will be done via their drive-through window, Facebook, and their website. Through the drive-through, they will pass out weekly packets, which include:
● TWO craft projects ● 1 STEAM project ● 1 Activity packet ● 1 Science project ● Reading logs & bingo cards
Internet Safety
Netsmartz is a great resource to learn about Internet safety with kids. The parent’s website will give talking points and ways you can help teach your child internet safety. The kids website has games and videos to help reinforce Internet safety skills.

Arbor Family Counseling
Arbor Family Counseling contracts with Blair Schools to provide Student Assistance Programs (SAP). SAP assessment and counseling services are oriented to include the child and his/her family.
o Each BCS student receives two free sessions with a counselor regarding a specific issue.
All SAP Services are confidential.
