What is LASO?LASO stands for the Latin American Student Organization. Is a
student led organization that creates cultural awareness and
celebrates the Hispanic and Latin American culture. It is a welcoming
environment for all Latinos and non-Latinos who desire to learn more
about the culture.
What is LASO’s Goal?Through service and leadership, our goal is assist as many minorities
in the community. We strive to promote and educate people on the
Hispanic and Latin culture through our monthly events, including
Hispanic Heritage month.

OFFICER POSITIONS OPEN Event Coordinator The L.A.S.O. Event Coordinator will oversee and plan all external and internal events. Some of the Event Coordinator responsibilities include meeting with other organizations to work out event details, plan with them, scout and book locations, food, entertainment, staff and cleanup.
Public RelationsThe L.A.S.O Public Relations officer will manage all social media accounts. Public Relations will oversee all tabling events whether it be for a specific event or informational. This officer will provide students with any questions that students may have about L.A.S.O and always present a positive image of the organization.
