These birds are raised in a humane and environmentally-responsible manner. Direct descendants of Standard Bronze, Narragansett, and Spanish Black breeds, these are turkeys as nature intended them. The flock roams freely on grassy pastures most of the year, grazing and foraging to supplement
their GMO-free, vegetarian diet. Unlike commercial turkeys, heritage birds are intensely flavorful on their own – like a good chicken or game bird – and require hardly any

Our Public Label collaborations embody one of the many ways we “create community through food,”
by working with inspiring producers to make incredible products. For our 2014 Pinot Noir, we
sourced our grapes from the Olcese Vineyard, one of the oldest Pinot Noir vineyards in Sonoma County. Planted in 1974 to the Martini clone, a California heritage clone of Pinot Noir, the vine-yard’s fruit production had begun to wane. Eager
for a better yield, the vineyard owner wanted to re-plant with younger vines. To save this historic fruit, our wine buyer Trac decided to buy all the grapes from this vineyard to make our own bottling. We asked one of the best Pinot Noir winemakers in California, Samantha Sheehan of Poe Wines, to make us a phenomenal and affordable wine
