Join us in another great summer season of fun and unforgettable memories. Each week the camps will have a different theme and if permitting, we will tailor the theme towards the field trip of the week. The summer camp will continue the mission of the Spring Break Camp of Enrichment through Fun and Play. Enrichment activities will be incorporated into daily activities, games and crafts. Age appropriate activities that will allow participants to show their creative sides as well as recreation and sports games will promote physical fitness. TAI CHI MIX Interested in reducing stress, increasing energy, and regaining balance? Well then the Tai Chi Mix class will help you find it! The class is for beginners to advanced students. The first hour will be spent on the basic tai chi movements. Tai Chi is a set of specific movements that take on the appearance of a dance. This is a non-contact and non combative way of improving health and physical control. The second hour will focus on weapons. Where the sword helps you find your internal “Chi,” the fan will help you smooth the flow of your “Qi.” With both techniques you will improve your balance and muscle tone.
