Edmonton Transit New Direction
Changes are happening to our North End big time!
You can make a difference by voicing feedback to our City of Edmonton Councilors and the
mayor.
The bus system will be undertaking changes that affect many of you. Route 180 and 152 will not
exist and if you wish to catch a bus will require walking to the main arteries such as 66 Street
and 137 Avenue, or to 132 Avenue and bus stops on Fort Road.
As per the information session that was back in December our North end bus routes into
Belvedere and into Londonderry will be cut out.
PLEASE EMAIL our councilor Aaron Paquette - [email protected]
Or call 780-496-8138
For more information check website: edmonton.ca/newbusroutes
or contact them [email protected]
Page 7 www.belvederecl.com Face book: Belvedere Community League Feb-Mar 2019
The thick lines are where the bus routes will run in the new proposal.
As you can see…. no inner Belvedere bus routes. In front of Belvedere school will be gone, as
will the route on 58 Street.
WE, as citizens must make a difference and provide our feedback.
Many of our residents cannot walk the many blocks to a main road to catch a bus.
There will not be the smaller community shuttle bus in our area.
Tell the City councilors we care and to please reevaluate.

Community Patrol
Happy New Year and let us make this a better year for caring and watching out for the
residents of Belvedere. Crime stops for no one and ignoring that a neighbor’s garage door is
open with no one around and doing nothing about it is rude. Please if you notice the door is
wide open do something about it, see if they are home or try to close it. Thefts from garages
and homes are rising. BE AWARE!
Continue to watch out around your property and neighborhood and report crime or public
mischief that has taken place. Report to non-emergency 780-423-4567 or mobile text #377
EMERGENCY # IS CRIME IN PROGRESS OR CURB THE DANGER (If we think a person is driving
intoxicated) CALL 911
Thank you to the residents that do walk or drive and being the eyes, ears and report crime.
Thank you for helping us keep safe.
Unity in Community.
