INTERNATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE
• Students participating in this program must be covered by an international health insurance.
• A copy of this insurance must be presented to UPC International Office
• The student can opt by any insurance company, bearing in mind that the insurance must cover either disease or accidents during their studies in the US.
VISA IS THE STUDENT’S RESPONSIBILITY
For US visa information and/or to schedule an appointment, you must obtain a PIN for the equivalent of US $12.00. You can call 705-3007 and, using a Visa or Mastercard, purchase a PIN (activated immediately). You may also purchase a PIN (activated the following business day) from any branch of Banco Continental. In addition, prior to your appointment, you must pay an application fee. All applicants worldwide must pay a US$140.00 application processing fee, payable in local currency (Nuevos Soles) at Banco Continental before applying. The current cost is S/.392.00.
Proof that you have paid your nonrefundable SEVIS fee for applicants seeking F, or J-1 visas. More information on the SEVIS fee is available at http://www.ice.gov/sevis. Payment should be made with credit card at https://www.fmjfee.com/index.jhtml.
