ly.He did that too.Born with a mild developmental dis-

order Steven Hamel, 24, of Oakville wasbombarded with challenges throughouthis young life, but rather than let his dis-ability define who he was, he met thosechallenges and excelled to the joy of allthose around him.

On Saturday evening that joy was cutshort when Steven went missing whileon a boating trip on Bala Bay, reportedlyfalling from a boat into the water.
