Getting Started
Turning On & Charging The GPS Device
Plug the charger into an outlet and place the device on the charger. The device will automatically turn on.
Allow the device to fully charge before using. When the device is fully charged, the LED light will turn GREEN and announce:“Your device is now ready.”
The LED light on the device will turn RED and announce:“Your device is now charging.”
If the device is not on, press and hold the “HELP” button for 1 second. It may announce:“Hello, it is time to test your system to make sure it is working properly. Please press and hold the HELP button for 1 second now.”

*Please Do Not Try To Cancel An Emergency Call
In the event that the button is pressed, please do not try to cancel the call. Let the call go through to the call center. Once the call goes through, please let the
operator know that there is no emergency.

Placing An Emergency Call
Press and hold the “HELP” button for 1 second. It will announce:“Placing an emergency call now.”
If the call cannot be placed due to poor connection or other issues, the device will announce:“Call failed.”Attempt to call again by pushing the “HELP” button again.
The device will now make a call for help and the button can be released.

Setting Up The Caregiver Tracking AppDownload the app by searching for “Bay Alarm Medical Caregiver Tracking” in either the App Store (Apple iPhone) or the Play Store (Android).
Fill out the account form. The first name, last name, phone #, and email should be the as same infomation on record with Bay Alarm Medical. Tap “NEXT” when completed. Read and tap “I AGREE”.
Once downloaded, open the app icon and create an account by tapping on “CREATE ACCOUNT” button.
Register the device by entering the Account # located on the GPS device box. (i.e. BAMA######). Tap “REGISTER” in the top right corner. Please call 1-877-522-9633 to finish setting up your device.
