Volunteer Opportunity

Parents: If you would like to volunteer with field trips, library, classroom parties at the Dunlap schools, you

will need to complete the online application on the Dunlap District website. After completing, the District Of-

fice will contact you regarding fingerprinting. Please let the Banner office know that you have started the proc-

ess. We suggest you start this as soon as possible as it does take some time to process everything. You must

be approved before you can take part in an activity.

Physical Education Excuse A parent/guardian may excuse a student from physical education for up to two days. Any long term

physical education excuse must be requested in writing from the student’s health care provider, specifying the

length of time your child is to be exempted. A written note from the health care provider should be submitted

for the student to resume full activities.

Any child who is exempt from physical education for medical reasons will not be allowed to participate

in outdoor recess activities. Re-injury on the playground could occur, resulting in prolonging the child’s heal-

ing and recovery period. Arrangements for indoor recess in the main office or a supervised classroom will be

made.

Any child who is exempt from physical education for medical reasons will not be permitted to partici-

pate in school sponsored sports.
