1. Ballad Analysis
In groups, prepare a slideshow to analyse a ballad of your choosing according to the features on the next slide
Your slideshow should include at least 2 PEE examples for each feature of the ballad
Use appropriate literary terminology e.g. simile, rhyme
You must organise your slideshow so that it is interesting and easy to follow.

3. Newspaper
Produce a front page article on your ballad (A4 size)
Include a headline
A summary introductory paragraph answering ‘Wh’ questions
An explanation of the ‘story’ of the ballad (in 4- 6 paragraphs); you may need to use your imaginations to fill in some of the details
An eyewitness statement on the events
An accompanying image and caption
