St. Bernadette Parish, Milwaukee
Fourth Sunday of Advent
Tri-parish cluster identity In light of naming guidelines recently drafted by the Archdiocese, the
pastoral councils of our cluster parishes have jointly and individually
considered what we should call ourselves. We have agreed that we
will collectively be known as “Northwest Catholic Parishes,” while
retaining our individual identities. You will soon see this name, along
with a logo, used on our parish bulletins, websites, and other
communications to foster a greater sense of what we have in
common as we move toward the day when we will have one pastor.

in order to hold the raffle. We have sold almost 300 calendar raffle tickets. We
must sell at least 200 more, so keep up the good

make great Christmas gifts!
Reflect Christ; Live Stewardship Saint Bernadette kicked off a Sustainable Offertory Campaign on
November 4. You should have received a pledge letter and response
card for this Reflect Christ; Live Stewardship campaign. This
campaign will not only help us meet increasing operating costs, but
will also allow us to fulfill our mission by making a bigger difference
helping the less fortunate in our greater community. Please take the
time to fill out the response card and return it to the parish office in
the envelope provided. Even if you are unable to make a
commitment, please note that and still return the card. It is
important that we hear back from everyone. We thank the
approximately 25% who have returned their response cards thus far.
Monthly letter correction The December monthly letter mistakenly included lines for All Saints
Day and Thanksgiving offerings. They should have specified
Immaculate Conception and Christmas offerings. If you would like to
contribute to those Holy Day offerings, please cross off the incorrect
words and write in the correct offering.

When he discovered that Mary was with child,
Joseph resolved to end their engagement with
as little disgrace as possible. But obedient to the
voice of God, he changed those plans and became
instead the protector of the child Jesus and His
mother, Mary. God grant that I may be as
open to the leading of the Holy Spirit!
Knights of Columbus thank you K of C Council 6646 thanks you for your donations
