Corrected Rate - $150/nightExplore all Portland has to offer from one of the city’s most treasured historic landmarks... The Benson, a Coast Hotel.

Founded in 1913, The Benson features elegant European design with a host of modern amenities. See why U.S. Presidents and CEOs have made The Benson their home away from home for a 100 years—and why The Oregonian voted them Best Portland Hotel in 2012.

The Benson’s superb location puts you within two blocks of the MAX transit train which is a 3-stop ride to the Convention Center. It is walking distance to shopping, dining, the Pearl District, Pioneer Square and downtown. Famous boutiques, bookstores, breweries and performing arts are just steps away.

While retaining their luxurious Continental feel, rooms were refreshed in 2017 to capture the perfect blend of aesthetics and comfort.

The exceptionally friendly, service-oriented staff is one of the reasons you’ll find so many four and five-star reviews of the property.

Choose The Benson as your hotel of choice on your Portland Forum registration form.

Improving health & wellness is at the center of the challenges faced by many of our communities. As Lions, we often struggle with finding meaningful ways to have a positive impact on such large scale challenges as diabetes, obesity, measles, sight preservation, disasters and more. The Global Initiative on Health & Wellness (GIHW) offers Lions the opportunity address several key elements that keep clubs healthy, growing and serving their communities at a very high level.

During the GIHW session at the Forum, attendees will learn about the need for health and wellness missions in your community and beyond. GIHW will show how attendees how health & wellness projects enable Clubs/Districts to:• Attract new members/ build new clubs• Respond to disasters• Build a sustainable project while giving club

members new skills• Bring a more comprehensive way of

addressing, diabetes, obesity, measles, sight preservation, disasters & more

Join GIHW at USA/Canada and receive:• Free ‘How to DVD’s’

• Free portable eye screeners• Free certificates for Blue Lite eyeglasses that

preserve your sight while using electronic devices

• Over 200 Health and Wellness document handouts

• Free access to a data collection program to track your progress and the progress of health and wellness around the world

Happy loving projects make happy loving Lions. Jimi Hendrix says,” When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace”.
