본 장비는 방송국의 조정실에 설치되어 외부 Tally의 제어를 받아 On air lamp의 On/off 및 Speaker / signal mute의 동작을 수행한다. 또한 주변 방송 장비(Tape recorder, CDP등)의 Start / stop 동작 및 표시 등의 On/off를 제어할 수 있는 장비로서, 각각의 Tally 입력 및 제어출력간의 연결이 Matrix 형태로 설계되어 있어 별도의 장비를 추가하지 않고서도 사용자가 자유롭게 조합(1:1, 1:N, N:1)하여 사용할 수가 있으므로 편리하다.장비 전면에서 장비를 사용하는 환경에 알맞게 각 채널별로 기능 설정(전압 / 접점, 펄스 / 연속)을 할수 있어 사용 환경에 따른 다양성을 제공한다.
본 장비는 방송국의 조정실 및 Studio에 설치하여 방송 제작 및 송출 시 방송 중임을 표시하는 장치이다.WOL-100은 On Air시 적색으로 점등되며 WOL-100D는 Stand by시 녹색으로, On Air시 적색으로 점등된다.
