CONCLUSIONPerformancei would say toyota for performance because it has the best all round features. It does not have the largest engine but with a dual VVTi engine it definetly has some performance to it, further the toyota also has all the features including main features such as traction control which only the toyota and subaru have, the subaru can be considered to be very close to it but misses features such as stability control and a standard 2.0l boxer engine will be smallest out of the three. The mazda though having all the main features minus traction control, does consume the most fuels out of the four, therefore does not have that all round balance. And lastly the holden seems to lack brake force distribution and traction control, the larger engine will pack more of a punch than the other three considerably but will use more petrol in doing so.
For SafetyAlthough they all seem to be pretty tied, Holden seems to be slightly better when it comes to safety.
Value for money At face value you would think its the mazda but because mazda lacks the 5 star ancap safety rating and the does consume more fuel than the others may not be value for money, i would have to say the subaru definetly is value for money, with fair performance and good fuel consumption, and standard features, however it does lack some cosmetics but the price seems to be reasonable for the criteria subaru has met.
All cars are leading brands in Australia, with the 4 door sedan being the most popular choice of car for Australians. They all have outstanding features that are appealing, and yet they also have slight changes that buyers would be more attracted to when looking for a car.
ACCURACY OF ONLINE SOURCES
• We can refer to accuracy of our online sources by taking the 5 criteria checklist approach: accuracy, authority, objectivity, currency and coverage or scope.
• The main websites we have used are the sites of authority, such as Holden, Toyota and Suburu. We have all gone straight to the source and used the brand sites, which contain up-to-date information.
• Wikipedia, although currency (up to date), can be edited by multiple users (although there is a page that you can click on to establish edits and by who). Their objectivity is reliable as they are simply stating facts.
