RULES REGARDING LEAVE, ABSENCE
•Minimum 80% attendance in the academic year is compulsory to make
the student eligible to appear for the final assessments.
•A medical certificate will have to be produced in case of absence due to
sickness subsequently on resuming school after sickness.
•A student should not remain absent from the school except in case
of emergency. On the day on which he/she returns to school, the student
must produce a note in the navigator from his/her parent/guardian stating
the reason for the absence (on page titled 'Absence &Leave record').
•If the child is ill or is suffering from some contagious disease, the Class
teacher/ Coordinator should be informed of the same within two days by
the parent/guardian supported by a medical certificate. The child should
not be sent to school till he/she is free from any danger of carrying
infection.

•No student will be permitted to leave school early. No half day
leave will be granted unless in case of an emergency.
•If in case of emergency you happen to collect the child at mid
day,the bus attendant/driver/transport head should be
informed.(if bus facility is availed )
•Medical appointments with specialists should be made on
Saturdays or after school hours.
DURING ASSESSMENTS
•Students absent from an assessment / examination / test for any
reason whatsoever will not be re-examined.

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PARENTS
Parents form a vital part of the school curriculum and hence they are expected to abide by a certain set of rules.Parents are requested to read the rules and regulations mentioned in the navigator.Parents are requested to go through the navigator of your ward daily and sign it.
Parents are requested not to call up the teachers during the school
working hours, as it hampers the smooth functioning of the
school.
Information about the medical history of specific children who are suffering from any significant disease with address ,phone no, doctor’s phone number with four copies should be submitted to :-

BIRTHDAY POLICY
•The child can distribute a chocolate or a small gift upto Rs 5.
not exceeding Rs. 5/-
• No birthday parties of students or educators will be held in the class.
• No return gifts & birthday gift will be exchanged between the Educators &
the students in the class.
•Birthday dress code-Any decent attire to be worn.
STRICTLY PROHIBITED: Transparent apparels, short dresses, body-
fitting shirts, low-waist trousers and open back shirts or any
indecent attire .
Note : No parent will exchange any gift or favours from any of the
educators and authorities of the school.

SHARING DAY
Sharing Day will be observed in order to inculcate the habit of sharing.

ADOPTION POLICYThe school follows an ADOPTION POLICY where in the
class teacher adopts her class students.She takes and
gives feedback to you (parent) regarding the child’s
progress/development through monthly phone calls.You
can share and update the class teacher on any concern
pertaining to academics/behaviour.
The educator maintains the record of the student in a
prescribed format and notes down her observations
accordingly. At the end of the session, the entire record is
handed over to the educator of the next class to help her
know the student better. .
