WHO IS COSMO?COSMO is a Psychedelic Folk / Rock artist, on a mission to bring the spirit of 60s and 70s Folk and Rock culture into modern society.

COMSO’s music and style takes great influence from the likes of Donovan, Marc Bolan, David Bowie and The Doors.

Unmistakably, COSMO is not any sort of tribute to or spoof of such musicians, as he strives to fuse elements of the Psychedelic culture into contemporary music-making.

COSMO’s targeted fan-base will incorporate fans of the influencing artists such as Pink Floyd and The Doors, whilst encouraging a new generation with the elements of pop and contemporary styles that some of his music will feature.

COSMO’s debut single, “Season of the Witch”, which will appear on his soon to be released debut album, has a dark, quirky and ominous tone; the music video, which is currently in production, is taking influence from contemporary concept and artistic music videos, whilst incorporating his expressive and contemporarily modified 70s glam.

The music video for the song will explore a studious performance by the artist, inter-cut with quirky and psychedelic shots of various objects; all of this linking to the lyrics that relate to paranoia and schizophrenia.

The title of COSMO’s upcoming album is ‘HAPPY’, which clearly juxtaposes the moody tone of his music, as does the dark clothing and ‘HAPPY’ t-shirt he wears in the music video.

A recent photo shoot with the artist, edited by Kaitlyn Jarvis, as well as a few preview shots from the music video give a flavour of the unique digipak and music videos to expect coming soon.
