President’s Message May/June 2016 Hello Kiwanians,
et me start this Kiwanigram by introducing our new editor. Heather Wright is one of our newer members. She has kindly agreed to take
on this job. Please take the time to introduce yourselves and offer to help any way you can. Our meetings have enjoyed some remarkable speakers this year thanks to Bill Wright and his power team. The next two weeks promise to be exciting. This Thursday May 19th will be Maria Zouves (see this week Skinnie). On May 26th Joel Zukerman a sports writer well known on the island.
We have two events coming up: May 22nd is Concert on The Green. The 3ID will be providing the music. They are a first musical group. So bring your friends and a picnic and enjoy a great evening. There will be a change in our breakfast starting May19 th We will be serving a continental breakfast only. It will consist of bagels, muffins, yogurt, fruit, and coffee. The cost is $8.00. Hope to see you on Thursday. ~Joyce

Kiwanis Prayer
Heavenly Father:
Let Kiwanis widen our circles of interest and
broaden our spheres of services.
Teach our members that we need not be rich to
be generous, especially with our time; that
service to others is the rent we must pay for the
space occupy; and that is not the talented by the
dedicated who serve You best. Amen
