The Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) is the
premier test and evaluation organization within the

CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION COMMAND
Criminal Investigation Command (CIDC)
Capabilities Description
The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command (USACIDC)
conducts sensitive or special interest investigations as directed
by the SA or the CSA; plans for and provides personal security
(protective services) for DOD and DA officials as designated by
the SA or CSA; provides criminal investigative support to all
Army elements including forensic support; maintains overall
responsibility for Army investigations of controlled substances;
conducts and controls all Army investigations of serious crimes,
less serious crimes, upon request, or as necessary for effective
Army law enforcement, and fraud; and, other crimes arising in Army procurement activities.

Installation Management Command (IMCOM)
Capabilities Description
Installation Management Command is the Army's home. They
provide a source of balance that ensures an environment in
which Soldiers and Families can thrive; a structure that
supports unit readiness in an era of persistent conflict; and a
foundation that supports Army Transformation. They provide
the Army the installation capabilities and services to support
expeditionary operations in a time of persistent conflict, and
provide a quality of life for Soldiers and Families
commensurate with their service.

Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM)
Capabilities DescriptionINSCOM collects intelligence information in all intelligence disciplines to provide unit
commanders intelligence for the battlefield and the focus of combat power. The
organization also conducts intelligence production activities, ranging from
intelligence preparation of the battlefield to situation development, SIGINT analysis,
imagery exploitation, and science and technology intelligence production. INSCOM
also has significant responsibilities in counterintelligence, force protection, electronic
warfare, and information warfare. Additionally, INSCOM supports forcemodernization and training.

Capabilities Description
The 8th Field Army Headquarters provides a forward
deployed command and control capability for the Army
Forces (ARFOR) commander in Korea and, when

(CJFLC). Responsible for Executive Agent support to
USFK on the Korean peninsula.

Capabilities Description
ARCYBER is the lead for Army cyberspace related
missions, actions and functions, including theresponsibility to plan, coordinate, integrate, synchronize,

Capabilities Description
1st Information Operations Command (Land) deploys
information operations support teams in order to provide
IO planning support and vulnerability assessments in
support of military forces and provide an IO reach-back

The Field Support Teams (FST) & Vulnerability
Assessment Teams (VAT) provide IO support to

Corps Headquarters (CORPS HQ)
Capabilities Description
Army Headquarters designed for mission command of Army forcesin land operations. Deployable world-wide for mission command of
Army forces engaged in full-spectrum operations. Can command &
control any combination of Division HQs, Brigade Combat Teams,
or Support Brigades provided from the Army pool of forces or other
Service equivalents. Corps HQ will not have dedicated “troops”;
no additional forces will be added to force structure to support
them. Capable of rapid transition to a JTF or JFLCC role, when so
designated.

• Corps HQs is a globally available force that C2s Army forcesconsistent with the command relationships directed in the Global Force
Management Implementation Guidance (GFMIG)

Division headquarters operate as the Army's primary
tactical and operational level warfighting headquarters. Tooversee the conduct of decisive, shaping, and sustaining
operations that translate operational level directives into
tactical action by the Brigade Combat Teams (BCT) in
high and mid-intensity combat operations and during
protracted stability operations. To functions as an ARFOR
or JFLC headquarters for smaller scale contingencies.

Principle advisor to Theater Sustainment Command

HUMAN RESOURCE SUSTAINMENT CENTER
Capabilities Description
The HRSC is a multi-functional, modular organization
(staff element) assigned to a theater sustainment
command. The HRSC integrates and ensures execution
of postal, casualty, personnel accountability, and
reception, staging and onward movement (RSO)
coordination throughout the theater as defined by the
policies and priorities established by the ASCC G1/AG.
