A place should make you feel comfortable from the entrance, and I think a fountain, water in general, brings nice feelings…

Page 3: Are you paying attention Irene?

Going inside a mall, sometimes you feel anxious, where to go, what to see…an open place with good lighting and plants inside makes you feel more comfortably…

Page 4: Are you paying attention Irene?

One of the shops I ‘m a good customerAs I have noticed, I like stores with clothes where clothes are separated according to colors as well as casual and for special occasions clothes! It’s easier for me like that to find what I’m looking for….

Nice shoes….

Page 5: Are you paying attention Irene?

What am I looking for?I also like the shops where I can look whatever I want and ask for help when I want!

Don’t you also like how clothes are on shelves ? And light on the shop?

Page 6: Are you paying attention Irene?

And proposals….So if you want to buy a black costume, here they give you the chance to accompany it with the right shoes, bag and shirt! Everything easy, don’t need to spend lots of time looking around…

Page 7: Are you paying attention Irene?

A store for the house…that welcomes you!I really found out that an open door really invites you to the store…I feel more reluctant to enter a store by opening a door…

And the light here great as well! To allow you see every single detail of the objects!

As for objects…not many…put in a right order…help you find what you are looking for!

Red:a color that in market means something good for buyers! Either sales or reduction in prices! So here 20% off and shoes at a great display wait for you to choose the right ones!

Page 9: Are you paying attention Irene?

Here color plays an important role! Everything is separated according to color…positive attitude, lots of colors, make you feel so happy and you want to buy them all in all colors!

Page 10: Are you paying attention Irene?

More colors….A typical super market with so nice and fresh fruits…. The sales person put some fresh fruit behind me and I don’t know what to choose…

The display is nice…maybe if it was me..I would make a better canvas combining the colors and shapes…I’m creative, don’t you believe me????

Page 11: Are you paying attention Irene?

Salami area SOSIt’s salami area…but I find it confusing…I prefer fruits area to tell you the truth…Some are in display in front some in a fridge behind and nobody is there to help me…maybe I will go back to fruits…

Page 12: Are you paying attention Irene?

Service…Ok it’s not the most creative work but a good smile or a short chat makes you feel welcomed, even when you exit the store….She was bored…

Page 13: Are you paying attention Irene?

Easy and SmartI had never seen before that I could order by myself a book? Can you imagine? I should observe better next time!!!

Page 14: Are you paying attention Irene?

Books displayed in categories, easy to search and if you need help people in orange can help!

Page 15: Are you paying attention Irene?

Who says that a security man is there only for security reasons? A smiley man welcomes the people and give directions! Great surprise and really a plus for the store!

Page 16: Are you paying attention Irene?

Why am I avoiding it?Today I understood why I avoid this store…It’s dark..very dark inside, no good lighting, dark floor and sales person dressed on black…I suppose I’m not that kind of person!

Page 17: Are you paying attention Irene?

Can you feel like being close to the sea in a department store? Yes, if you have a coffee in a coffee shop with an aquarium in front…so relaxing to have a drink, talk to your friends and watch the fish swimming…really refreshing idea!

Page 18: Are you paying attention Irene?

No happy people…Waiting in a line to ask for a service? No way, the man in white jacket was looking really furious… going up and down but what to expect from only one sales person?

Page 19: Are you paying attention Irene?

No doors at all! You are all invited! Shoes in front, clothes behind! Modern look, really interesting approach…many nice things that I would like to buy!!!!

Page 20: Are you paying attention Irene?

Isn’t it wonderful? A toy store but it’s for old and young children! Haven’t you noticed the two doors in the entrance, one small for kids and one bigger for parents! As for the colors inside…blue makes me dream….

Page 21: Are you paying attention Irene?

Don’t you feel confused to find what you are looking for? Where are the boots, the high-heels or the flat shoes? Couldn’t they put them in a better order?

Page 22: Are you paying attention Irene?

And as it’s time to leave the mall, there is a great flower shop in the entrance, so many colors and a really attentive sales woman…don’t need to mention the great smell of the flowers…the smell is still in my nose!

Page 23: Are you paying attention Irene?

And something different….A woman selling jewelry and goldfish outside the mall…I don’t think that these two jobs can be combined…but here it is where creativity comes!

Page 24: Are you paying attention Irene?

Conclusion?Yes the truth is that we never really observe what we see…we should spend some more time on observation though…
