There have been many changes on and off the field for the Minnesota Vikings since the team’s inception, but the organization’s steadfast commitment to children has always remained the same.
The Vikings Children’s Fund was established in 1978 and has since raised over $9 million to give back to those in need. The Vikings Children’s Fund is a means for Vikings Players, coaches,
cheerleaders, staff and their families to focus their community support to help children. It distributes
grants to health, education and family services organizations benefiting children.
In 2011, the VCF raised over $520,000. It distributed $240,000 to the University of Minnesota Department of
Pediatrics and awarded over $280,000 to more than 70 Upper Midwest nonprofit organizations.
Don’t miss your opportunity to meet several current and former Vikings players, Vikings Cheerleaders and team executives for this annual event to benefit the Vikings Children’s Fund. The Vikings will be riding Arctic Cat Snowmobiles on the well groomed trails visiting Blast Points in Garrison, Isle and Malmo. The Blast Points will feature great food, fun activities, autographs and prizes. With your paid registration you will receive a Prize Ticket that gives you the opportunity to join in the $30,000 Sunday Prize Party held at the GC Mille Lacs Events and Convention Center.
No Snowmobile? No Problem! All registered participants can take the free shuttles courtesy of the Mille Lacs Drift Skippers and Mille Lacs
Trails Snowmobile Club. Visit vikings.com for exact times and details. A schedule will also be posted at all Blast Points the day of event.
Advance registration is just $25 per person and all advanced registrations will be eligible to win a pair of 2012 Vikings
season tickets. They must be received by mail or online by February 5, 2012. Day of event registration can be done
at any of the Blast Points for $35.
Register online at vikings.com or send in by mail. Additional information is available by
