Message from Father Peter Greetings, Congratulations to all of our First Communion and Confirma-tion students. It is a great blessing for our three parish communities to celebrate these two sacraments of initiation. May God bless you with His abundant graces!
I would imagine that some of you are curious about how the cluster meeting with all three parish pastoral councils and Deacon Mark Barder went. The results of the meeting are as follows. As of June 2, 2013, we will go from 4 Sunday Masses (2 Saturday and 2 Sunday) to 3 Sunday Masses (1 Saturday and 2 Sunday). The changes include moving the Saturday evening Mass from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. and eliminating the 7:30 p.m. (Saturday) Mass. Christ the King will continue to keep the 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning Mass year round, and Clarissa and Bertha will continue to rotate between the 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday Masses every six months. Thus, the new schedule will be:
5:30 p.m. Saturday at SJC (alternating with SJB every 6 months),
8:30 a.m. Sunday at CTK, and 10:30 a.m. Sunday at SJB (alternating
with SJC every 6 months). The 6 month changes take place the first Sunday in September and the first Sunday in March. It was also noted that we will be adding a late Saturday evening Mass for the two deer hunting weekends. ~Blessings, Fr. Peter
