Objectives
Framework To deploy advanced energy technologies relating to biomass-
derived fuel gas so as to enhance communication of innovations and dissemination of technologies among APEC economies.
To promote cooperation of industry and academia, to enhance understanding of sustainable technologies among APEC economies which facilitates dissemination of biomass-derived fuel gas and their commercial applications.
To offer the APEC member economies for exchanging experiences and research outcomes, and to provide uniform information to biomass-derived fuel gas technology investors to minimize costs.

January 2015 Identify the APEC experts from each economy to provide information.
February –March 2015
Assemble information on existing and proposed clean gas station and biomass-derived fuel gas production connectivity standards, regulations, and policies across the APEC region. Inputs include
o Information from designated APEC contactso Web pages of government departments and regulatorso Previous APEC projecto Direct consultation with stakeholders
It is expected that the compilation will be largely completed by November 2015.
March – June 2015
Engage experts and stakeholders in an open discussion on associated topics and organize a forum, a short-term training course, and a steering committee meeting. Offer the APEC member economies experts for visit, communication of the experience and research outcomes.
August /September
2015
Conduct the forum and the 2-day short-term training course:Day 1: Forum and steering committee meeting; short-term training course begins.Day 2-3: Short-term training course continues.
August –November
2015
Produce the final report highlighting the recommendations to biomass-derived fuel gas system connectivity in the APEC region. The final report is planned for dissemination.
December 2015
Discuss the final report with the APEC fora involved in the project to determine the need for the establishments of an action plan.
