Who we are
The Salesian Missionaries of
Don Bosco help to educate
and evangelize the young
especially the poorest of the
poor. Inspired by our founder
Saint John Bosco, the religious
order of the Salesians of Don Bosco dedicate
their lives to bringing aid to disadvantaged
youth. Don Bosco believed that “Education is
a matter of the heart.” He nurtured a deep
understanding and love for young people and
guided them with reason, religion and
kindness. He acknowledged that young
people are vital to our society.
What we do
The Don Bosco Missions Office is a Canadian
registered charity BN 83428 7468 RR 0001. We
exist to support our Salesian Missionaries who
are perpetually professed Priests, Brothers and
Sisters who care for the disadvantaged youth in
developing countries. We receive donations
from loyal benefactors across Canada. We issue
official Canadian income tax receipts. Your
generosity provides nourishment, shelter,
education, recreational activities, pastoral care,
humanitarian and disaster relief, religious
formation and much more.
Where we work
Don Bosco dreamed of the
