Summer Programs for College Students

Nicaragua

Learn medical Spanish, and help promote health and disease pre-vention in a local clinic; enroll in a service-learning course and work with local youth and non-profits. Fully immerse yourself into the vibrant culture of Barranquilla.

Train to become a community health organizer, and help sup-port families of children with disabilities. Work with parents to create early childhood devel-opment toys out of recycled materials, and provide occupa-tional support to youth learning a trade.

Help organize and support a diverse range of sustainability initiatives including health fairs, community gardens and recycling centers. Tour Oaxaca City, the Mayan ruins and explore Oaxacan heritage, which recognizes 16 indigenous groups!
